Meet Heidi
Founder, Master Hair Colorist
Creative, versatile, and passionate about the beauty industry, Heidi has established herself as a successful master haircolorist. Her career began at the age of 18. After graduation, Heidi trained with AVEDA in Minneapolis, Redken and L’Oreal in New York City, and Vidal Sassoon Advance Academy in London. She was one of the first AVEDA certified color educators. Her platform artist work has been seen at various conventions in Dallas, Miami, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C. At age 27, she was honored to be chosen for Gambit’s 40 under 40. Her passion for hair is equal to her passion for people, her clients, and her team. With 25 years of leadership and love of her family, Barrett & Bennett Beauty was born.
Heidi lives in Madisonville with her high school sweetheart husband, Steven, their two boys Evan (Barrett) & Reed (Bennett). When Heidi is not in the salon, She enjoys boating on the Tchefuncte River and being with their dog, Stella.
Meet Ruthie
Ruthie has been in the beauty industry for 18 years. Heidi and Ruthie have worked together over the past 16 years and share the same vision and passion. Ruthie is a master colorist and certified extension specialist. She spent many years as an AVEDA certified color educator. She has mastered Keratin treatments- Cezanne, Trissola and Keratin Compex. Ruthie also loves the art of haircutting and styling. She is also, a make up and bridal hair specialist.
When not behind the chair she loves being with her husband Shayne, her twins Avery & Hayes and goldendoodle Toby. She also loves design, decorating and selling houses.
Meet Amanda
Amanda graduated from the AVEDA Institute in 2008. After working in a salon setting, she knew she was meant for more. In 2012, she won Best makeup artist in New Orleans. In 2013, she styled hair and make up for the Grammys in Los Angeles. Amanda in 2015 & 2017 worked the New York Fashion week. She has traveled the country doing makeup and wig work for Operas, Ballets, musical theatre and film work. She is the premier wedding hair and makeup artist.
Amanda is building a home in Madisonville. She is married to her husband Joshua. They have 4 beautiful boys and 1 gorgeous girl. When not working Amanda is homesteading and enjoying life with her two dalmatian’s, Luna & Jinny, and her horse, teddy.
Meet Rhonda
Rhonda loves being behind the chair for over 25 years now. She has trained with Aveda, Van Micheal, and the famous colorist, David Adams. While her passion is color she also specializes in extensions, cuts and smoothing treatments. Rhonda lives in Madisonville. She loves to workout and spending time with her grand babies when not behind the chair.
Meet Jules
Jules is a 2019 graduate of the Aveda Institute in Covington. Her passion is cut, color, and styling. She loves bringing your hair goals to life from start to finish while building a relationship with you. Send the men in your life to her. Mens cuts are one of her specialties. She loves CrossFit and spending time with her nephews. Jules resides in Covington.
Meet Holly
Holly started her beauty career 18 years ago. She trained at the Vidal Sassoon Advanced Academy in Santa Monica, California. Holly was former First Lady Laura Bush’s hairdresser when she traveled to Louisiana. She says she is most relaxed and confident when cutting hair. We have to agree! She only specializes in crafting the perfect cut for you. Holly lives in Mandeville with her husband and children.
Meet Suzanne
Welcome Suzanne to the Barrett & Bennett team. Suzanne has been a stylist in New Orleans for over 10 years. She is a graduate of The Aveda Institute. She specializes in cuts, color & extensions. We are so excited Suzanne has chosen to join us. She is a Mom of two, a competitive power lifter, and a spin teacher at Stonecreek.
Meet Tiffany
Barrett & Bennett Beauty is so excited to welcome Tiffany Evans to our team. Tiffany is a graduate of the AVEDA Institute. She has been in the beauty industry for 19 years. Tiffany and her family moved to Pensacola and we are so happy to welcome them back home! she loves making clients feel beautiful and cared for. Color, highlighting, cuts and styles, Tiffany executes your hair goals from start to finish. She can’t wait to have you in her chair. Her greatest pleasure is her family. When Tiffany can, she heads back to Pensacola to put her feet in the sand.
